Just wondering, can someone get in trouble with the law if a person filed an accident report at work and the report was false or did not match up? Like can that person get arrested, fined, etc. ?

If you did so intentionally and did not correct the reort right away when you found out about the mistake then yes. Such conduct is fraud. In fact it is ';insurance fraud'; which is punished extra hard in a lot of states. Can someone get in trouble with the law for filing an accident report at work and it's false/does not match?
