Does the horn have to work to pass my car inspection? true or false?

.....Um yes.

Why would you drive without a horn?

USDOT makes this a national requirement.Does the horn have to work to pass my car inspection? true or false?
It may vary by state, but you probably need it to work. The horn is considered a signaling device, just like turn signals. Maryland requires it to work.Does the horn have to work to pass my car inspection? true or false?
Yes, Safety equipment must be in working order. Sometimes they just forget to check it and mark it good but you can't tell when that'll happen.
I know in PA it must work to pass.
