True or false? a weightlifter has converted his work into kinetic energy when lifting a barbell?

please explain why or why notTrue or false? a weightlifter has converted his work into kinetic energy when lifting a barbell?
When lifting a mass in a gravitational field potential energy is added to the mass. That potential energy becomes kinetic energy when the mass falls to a lower position.

And the part that is usually not intuitively obvious to most people is that technically no work is required to hold the weight at the new level. So, even though it is a strain on the weight lifter to hold the barbell up, strictly speaking once in position he is no longer doing any work on the mass.

So, the correct answer would be: False, he has converted his work into potential energy. That potential energy then becomes kinetic energy when the barbell is lowered or dropped.True or false? a weightlifter has converted his work into kinetic energy when lifting a barbell?
i think its kinetic energy when the bar is being lifted up but when its being slowly dropped back down, it potential energy. I think. maybe. maybe not.
