How shias distiguish true from false history,as history is a human work full of error?

how manytimes do i have to tell you people this, get your facts rights before you say anything.

Shias DO belive in hadiths, but we prefer to have the Holy Quran as our main source.

i'm trying not to start arguments, therefor i will not be answering your question.

Edite:

well if you tell me the criteria sunnis follow to judge the history, maybe i would be able to help more. How shias distiguish true from false history,as history is a human work full of error?
Shi'a do not reject hadith. They say that there is no book of hadith that is 100% Sahih (reliable) and that every individual hadith must be checked for reliability (using the chain of narrators) before it can be used.

The history of the Prophet and the early generations of Muslims is largely based on ahadith, so this methodology applies there. How shias distiguish true from false history,as history is a human work full of error?
idk ur answer. im sunni. but you have a point. i have shia friends in school that rejects the hadiths.
