Is It A Felony To Give False Information To The Military At Enlistment?

If you lie to the recruiters and leave out details about yourself, especially info. that will keep you from getting in the service, and it is found out. That is a felony, right? Is It A Felony To Give False Information To The Military At Enlistment?
Could be:

“Any person who—

(1) procures his own enlistment or appointment in the armed forces by knowingly false representation or deliberate concealment as to his qualifications for that enlistment or appointment and receives pay or allowances thereunder; or

(2) procures his own separation from the armed forces by knowingly false representation or deliberate concealment as to his eligibility for that separation;

shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.”

Maximum punishment.

(1) Fraudulent enlistment or appointment. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 2 years.

(2) Fraudulent separation. Dishonorable discharge, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 5 years.

You have to be charged and convicted. Any max punishment over 1 year means it is a felony in general terms of law. Misdemeanors carry ';up to 1 year';.

In all branches of the US Armed Forces anything beyond a year, and perhaps more than 6 months, of confinement is an automatic trip to The Disciplinary Barracks, Ft. Leavenworth KS. Mommy will be the 705th MP Battalion. Is It A Felony To Give False Information To The Military At Enlistment?
No. It is fraudulent enlistment which does not equate to the level of a felony charge.

In fact it wouldn't equate to any civilian charge. The offender when found out would simply be dishonorably discharged or released from training.
Not a felony unless it is under oath and you are charged with perjury. However it could get you a '; other than honorable'; discharge.
You can get in serious trouble.

Why would you want to do that anyways. Just be honest
yes it is. It's falsifying government documents
yes it is..you can be fined and /or jailed for it too.
yes it is its also fraudulent enlistment and a dishonorable discharge

you will ruin your life forever
They won't care about you anyway, so go ahead and make your mistake.
Of course dumb as*
Yes it is .
