the state declined to press charges because it was false, but now i have a felony to deal with. will this affect my future employment? do I have to disclose this on job applications? i have contacted a lawyer and the lawyer stated it will cost me 7,500 to fix it. i'm so disappointed in our legal system!!! If the state declined to press charges, then you have no felony. If you have a felony, then you were found guilty.
